Twas listening to Let Her Go by Passenger, really addicting song xD This cover especally made me inspired: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TStxA8… I felt it fit Lucas and Gretchen, as Lucas wants to love Gretchen but she feels as if she can't trust anyone. She's suffered a lot from love, many relationships ending in heartache for her. Gretchen has a very low view on males, since the boyfriends she's honestly loved only wanted her for her looks, for a fling or two. Lucas doesn't want to give up on her, and obviously in the end the two are happily dating C: Dunno about kids or not but xD

Have some of my new OTP. I've wanted to draw Lucas and Gretchen for awhile, and now here she is with sweetheart Lucas givin' a hug. He's patient with her, since he's smitten as all Heck Lucas is also older here, so he's a lot more scruffy and stuff I updated his colors and design slightly again too but I'll make new ref sheets for everyone some other day I dunno what kind of dog Gretchen is but I'm thinking some sort of Irish Setter Cross
