Personality: Ikki's heart was there upon her chest the moment the lioness was brought into the world, always having wearing it on her sleeve no matter the time of day. However, such a trait gets her trouble, since those who are natural lovers are always destined to suffer one way or another. For Ikki, its no different as since cubhood she was teased mercilessly thanks to her overall appearance that consisted of a large lip, buck teeth, droopy ears, big paws and a even bigger rear plus belly. Its left her very shy in terms of being judged, lions still sometimes like to poke fun at her and it hurts a lot usually. Ikki is awkward and gullible with a very low self-esteem, which makes Ikki desperate for friends despite a few warning lights. Many see her as obnoxious in that respect, since she will do anything she can to win someone over to the point she becomes a nuisance. Ikki likes to play often and from being isolated from girls her own age so long she has become great at making games by herself, she is also very known for finding beautiful vistas to look at in the territory. A dreamer, she is a horrible fighter and clumsy huntress, which doesn't win the favor of the top lions and lionesses of the pride. Ikki hears what they whisper about her, that she doesn't do enough to be one of them, or perhaps those are just her own delusional thoughts. She isn't a slow lioness but a lonely one.

Background: She was born within the Delta pride to two commonfolk, her mother in fact being known as a rather good huntress. The ruddy cub was a blessing to the young couple who'd always prayed for the day they could give birth to children of their own after seeing so many of their friends and pride mates bear cubs for themselves. However after getting a good look at the newborn Tuulikki, they were positively appalled by how she looked. Sure, the new parents had heard tales of young lions calling infants disgusting to peer at, ugly in fact but... Her ears were large and drooped heavily on a small head, a big lip pursing out as the baby smiled up at the two lions she would be calling mommy and daddy. Ikki's head even looked lumpy! That couldn't be normal at all, especially how her half-lidded eyes just looked so beseeching despite the cub's unappetizing appearance.

So putting on their grown up pants and taking responsibility of the baby, they decided it would be cruel to disregard their little Ikki just because she looked a little... well, very off, compared to the other cubs. Ikki really was the ugly duckling among lions and as she grew, her parents were sore at how other lions in their pride looked at Ikki. They'd gotten over the shock of their less than perfect daughter, so why couldn't their pride? Many of the other parents forbade their children from interacting with Ikki, as if afraid they could catch the ugly from her. It only fueled the taunting fuel of the other little ones and soon, the cub was a prime target for bullying and unfair pouncing practice. Ikki never understood what was wrong with her, as her parents always made sure to make her feel beautiful, however when she looked down at her reflection one day...

She decided she didn't like what she saw either.
