Lady Mufasa was ready to face the wrath of the almighty golden queen. She stood regally in the moonlight, her red eyes squinted tartly and beautiful jawline clenched.
"Your Highness...!"
"Don't. You. Dare," the lioness said icily, padding to circle around her pridesister. "Don't try to worm your way out this, Mufasa."
"Pardon my Lady?" Mufasa met her eyes and found fury behind that blazing gaze.
Uru's mother bared her teeth. "I expected so much more out of you," she told Mufasa in a huff. "I put my faith in you to take care of my daughter with poise and grace. You, who are I assumed to be a smart and realistic woman. You, who I called my friend."
Mufasa took the words with a grain of salt, only looking on with calm eyes. "Your Majesty, you know of the lore. Uru's eyes..."
"ENOUGH!" She thundered, shooting a glare to silence Mufasa's words. "Stop believing in those silly cub tales. Uru isn't some prophet, and you making her have quelms to believe whatever daydreams she has is borderline insubordination!"
The darker female looked away slightly. "Excuse my disposition my Lady, but you should have faith in the girl's little 'daydreams.' She has predicted few things for our kingdom, now she is seeing future death and massacre. She tries telling you this, I believed I could make you see..."
"I don't need to see anything, Mufasa!" The golden queen snapped, roaring. "All I see is a loony dangerous lioness in charge of the royal princess, our sole heir! You have been feeding her these disillusions for far too long!"
Mufasa suddenly felt her stomach clench tightly.
"Until I see further fit, you will not be in charge of Uru's tutoring nor of her guardianship. I take away that right as of tonight," the queen said, not even sparing Mufasa a second glance to see the female's desperate expression.
"M-my lady! Please, you must reconsider! Uru needs me!"
"Uru needs a capable role model! She doesn't need silly daydreams and tomfoolery as you constantly encourage her to believe!"
"You should have consider that the moment you revoked her motherly stature into my paws, my queen..." She looked away painfully, heaving a strong breath.
She felt the queen's paw come close to her jaw, trying to restrain herself before the royal female allowed a stiff breath. "What I did for my daughter is no longer of your concern... friend..."
Mufasa tries to get Uru's mother to see sense in Uru's uncanny power. She has nothing of it and claims Mufasa too 'unstable' to be raising her daughter any longer. Of course, this doesn't stop Mufasa from helping Uru cope with the events soon to come...

Whoa. The Queen is beautiful, she actually looks a bit more like her grandson. But what a bitch, no what a lioness who is blind and ends up paying the price for her foolish thoughts. I bet she regretted what she done when it happened...but then it was too late.
