For those who may not like Ashcan much, he has his reasons for being so bitter towards Bean. He feels as if his father is trying to replace him and his mother Trinidad with Bean and Diane. Also, Ashcan was very tramatised by his mother's tragic passing as he feels it was his own fault. So instead of trying to find comfort in Straws, he expresses his emotions through anger and violence towards Bean, Bailey and their two pups. Its not right but Ashcan doesn't KNOW how to deal with his emotions. He both hates and loves Bean but the two brothers never become anything but heartache and pain. Bean WANTS a relationship with his big brother and doesn't fully understand WHY he's so hateful of him. But in the end, Bean loves his brother and it hurts him to have to fight with him, especially as an adult to protect his kids from what trama Ashcan inflicted on him. So the pic is supposed to represent that struggle. The song I thought fit as well.
